Yung Bans and Smokepurpp have a history of mocking Russ. When Russ was asked about that on The Breakfast Club this week he claimed that he had a tape on which he catches one of them at a festival and has them beat down.
Bans immediately denied it was him and continued to mock Russ.
Y’all know damn well Russ ain’t beat my ass.. FUCK RUSS https://t.co/XtYQhCneeU

It turns out Bans was right. The tape -- which Russ released last night -- was of his goons jumping and wailing on Smokepurpp.
In the wake of that reveal, Bans and Russ are now friends.

Bans isn't the only young rapper who suddenly has respect for Russ. Tekashi 6ix9ine jumped on Instagram after the Purpp beating tape dropped and invited Russ to join his Treway set.
