YSL Woody Apologizes To Young Thug, Says He'll 'Never Forgive Himself'

by Daryl Nelson

Some time ago, YSL Woody told authorities that Young Thug was guilty of committing a bunch of crimes.

But he later admitted lying to get the police off his back.

"The police kept locking me up for whatever they could. And they keep bringing up Thug's name," Woody testified in August. "So what I did was, to get them off me, I said Thug did this, Thug did that because I know that he didn't do it and in my mind the police were never going to mess with him. So, it was easy for me to try to throw the blame on him to get them off me."

Woody is now apologizing to Thug and his family for causing so much trouble as the rapper continues to fight his RICO case.

"I'm sorry," said Woody in an interview. "The pain, the suffering, everything I've caused on him and his family... I wish I had the mindset and the strength that I have now. I'll never forgive myself. I took him through a process that I never should have took him through. Even though I know I'm not the cause of it, despite how anybody may feel, it's wrong."
