YSL Jury Explains Why They Acquitted Yak Gotti

by HHL JT

The YSL RICO trial came to a close this week after almost two years.

Yak Gotti was acquitted on all charges and Shannon Stillwell beat everything but a gun charge, for which he will get time served and probation.

The crux of Fulton County's case against Yough Thug's crew is that they were a criminal gang and enterprise as well as a record label.

The jury didn't buy it.

Here's one juror's reasoning for acquitting on the RICO charges

"Was it this whole big organized thing, or was it just a bunch of people that were affiliated with each other doing individual stuff to take care of their families or to get revenge," she wondered. "Most of the overt acts were Instagram pictures. A lot of us kind of feel like, I’m not about to put nobody in jail for, like, Instagram pictures."

It stands to reason that Thugger would have beaten all charges if he hadn't taken a plea deal.  But he did and will be subject to a pretty harsh decade of probation.
