Next to Tory Lanez being convicted of shooting Megan Thee Stallion, Gunna taking a plea deal has arguably been the most discussed news in Hip Hop as of late.
The Atlanta rapper has been ripped online for accepting the plea. Mainly, because Young Thug, YSL's reported co-founder, is still behind bars facing charges.
One of the latest to speak against Gunna is Mondo, who is said to be YSL's other co-founder.
"He did what he did, man. I ain’t put no cap on it," said Mondo on the Ugly Money Podcast. "I know this for sure, I ain’t going off what no internet talking about. I ain’t going off what I’m seeing all over cap. I’m talking personally, on everything I love, I’m talking I know what’s going. Boy, you ain’t supposed to do that, my brother. Even if I did be talking to nobody, everybody who got common sense, everybody who’s been in the streets know, you do not, boy."
He continued. "I always said he was a good genuine n*gga … But certain sh* makes you do certain sh*t … You can’t say, ‘Oh, they tricked me,’ or ‘Oh, I ain’t talked,’ or ‘I don’t know what’s going on.’ Come on, my brother. It’s certain sh*t you just don’t do. And hey boy, you crossed the line, my brother. You did that ... You panicked, man … No bullsh*t, man. That boy panicked."
