Young Thug, Gunna, and 26 other YSL members were arrested last night in Fulton County, Georgia on 56 counts, including charges of conspiring to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, murder, armed robbery, and participation in criminal street gang activity.
Thug is facing charges of participation in street gang activity and conspiring to violate the RICO Act.
More specifically, he's accused of renting a car that was used in a murder and approving a hit on rival rapper YFN Lucci.
His lawyer says he is innocent.
“I’ll tell you the response to any allegation; Mr. Williams committed no crime whatsoever,” attorney Brian Steel said. “And we will fight to my last drop of blood to clear him.”
Gunna is facing less serious charges, one count of conspiring to violate RICO that may stem from his appearance in a video.
Thug spent the night in jail and is expected in court this morning.
