Yesterday, Young Thug and Gunna were denied bond for the third time and will remain in jail as they await trial on RICO and, in Thug's case, other charges
Prosecutors have argued that Thug, Gunna, and the other YSLs they've locked up are a threat to witnesses on the outside.
They've also been deemed threats to witnesses on the inside.
One of the 26 YSLs who were arrested along with Thug and Gunna is now cooperating with the state and was just placed in protective custody.
In addition, DA Fani Willis asked the judge to rule the court can't share information about cooperating witnesses with anyone besides defense lawyers because the blogs had received info that allowed them to identify the witness.
"Since the date of those filings, however, information from the state’s discovery material has appeared on public websites,” Willis wrote in her motion. "As a result, the state now has grave concerns about the safety of that named witness and other potential witnesses in this trial."
