Young Thug Wants Off His 15 Year Probation

Last month, Young Thug took a plea deal in Fulton County's sprawling RICO case against the YSL.

While it got him home, the technically 40-year sentence came with some severe conditions.

He has to serve the first five years in prison, which was commuted to the 2.5 years he's already served. That's followed by 15 years of probation. The next 20 years are backloaded and would be served if he fails probation stipulations.

The conditions of his probation include a ban on gang-related music and a ten-year ban from metro Atlanta.  He's required to do four presentations/concerts per year against gang violence and can't have contact with any of his co-defendants or gang members besides his brother and Gunna.

Yesterday, the YSL trial ended with Yak Gotti beating all the charges.  The jury members didn't buy the state's argument that YSL was an organized criminal enterprise.

As such, Thug probably would have beaten his case.

As you can hear in the interview below, Thug is already trying to get off that probation and had some regret about the plea.
