Singing with Cash Money in 2018 seems like a truly terrible idea.
But for some reason, Young M.A may have gone and done that.
M.A, who's been moonlighting as a director of lesbian porn, sported a big old Cash Money chain in an Instagram post last week.
Now it's entirely possible that was nothing more than a Lil Wayne Halloween costume and we shouldn't read too much into it.
M.A, who's yet to drop her first album, is currently without a label. But she doesn't always plan to be and that's probably why the Cash Money rumors have been flowing.
"I don’t plan to be independent forever; you never know what could happen,” she explained last year to Rolling Stone. “I still want to be able to move in the same way. I don’t want to feel like I’m obligated to fit [into] a box to be successful. I’m just adapting because this is forever now. I want to do this forever.”
Cue the Birdman hand rub.
