Young Dolph Gives Cash To The Baristas Fired For Playing His Music

by HHL JT

Britni Brown and Kevin Simmons were fired from their jobs as baristas at a Duke University coffee shop after Vice President of Student Affairs Larry Moneta came into the store and heard Young Dolph's "Get Paid" blasting from the speakers.

He complained to the shop's management and they terminated Brown and Simmons, who were working when the VP came in,  even though they said they were good employees.

Brown had set the Spotify playlist that played "Get Paid" -- which in all honesty is a completely inappropriate to track to rock  in such a place of business.

Regardless, it ended up working out pretty well for the pair. When Dolph heard about what happened he invited Brown and Simmons to hear him perform at Rolling Loud Miami. During his show he gave them each 20K.

"So check this out, this what we gon do," he said in video obtained by Revolt TV. "I know for a fact that the VP at that school get money, but he don't get money like Dolph. So until y'all get a new job, I got $20,000 for y'all right now."
