YelaWolf's run with Shady Records is coming to an end.
But the breakup, which he announced during a recent show, appears to be a good one.
“Trunk Muzik 3 is my last album on Shady Records. Five fucking albums on Shady Records. I feel blessed for that. Make some noise for Marshall Mathers," Yela said, before going into his track "Best Friend", which featured Eminem.
YelaWolf's run on Shady Records had some high points: His 2015 album Love Story went gold.
He's also had some high profile meltdowns and has struggled mightily with alcohol abuse and mental health issues.
Here's hoping Yela's next chapter is sober and successful.
