A backstage fight shut down Yams Day 2018, the yearly concert that celebrates the life of late A$AP Mob member A$AP Yams. There was a rumor that Tekashi 6ix9ine was involved in the melee and was stabbed and shot.

The third annual event took place on Thursday (Jan. 18) at the New York Expo Center in The Bronx, where acts like Lil Yachty, PnB Rock, Playboi Carti and of course A$AP Mob hit the stage.

Around 10:30 p.m folks in the back of concert started fighting. Reportedly, chairs were used as weapons.  People initially thought gunshots were fired, but the NYPD confirmed that wasn't the case.

Eventually, the concert was shut down and everyone was forced to leave.

Later on that night, Tekashi took to social media to address rumors that he had been hurt in the fight.

"For everybody that's putting my name in that Yams Day situation, that had nothing to do with me," he said. "I'm perfectly fine. That had nothing to do with me. It's crazy,  the amount of hate that just goes around in this world, man. Yams didn't deserve that. It was a charity event, you know what I'm saying, for Yams' family. That had nothing to do with me... I wasn't in no fight. My hair is still laced, this perm. I got into no altercation... You can see my face. I wasn't shot, I wasn't stabbed. Stop making up stories. Ya'll want something bad to happen to me so bad."

Do you agree with Tekashi? Do you think others want to see him get hurt or have his career derailed in someway?
