On Friday, XXXTentacion's pre-trial hearing on charges of aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment and witness tampering ended up with him in jail without bail.
That had a lot to do with his internet antics.
Before going to the hearing, XXX had posted information about the presiding judge and asked his fans to come to the courtroom. X's fans started harassing the judge, who then took himself off the case.
The new judge quickly concluded the 19-year old was making a mockery of the legal process and had him taken in.
In addition to that, TMZ is now reporting that he was hit with eight new witness tempering felonies, bringing the total number of felonies against him to 15.
Prosecutors believe XXX tried to intimidate his ex, who he is accused of viciously assaulting, into not testifying against him. TMZ's sources say XXX made multiple calls to his ex when he was locked up last time. They were all recorded -- as all prisoner calls are -- and evidence from those phone calls led to the eight new witness tampering charges.
The state intends to prosecute the witness tempering felonies apart from the assault felonies in two separate trials.
Some of the felonies are first degree, meaning X faces life in prison.
