World's Richest 8 People Have The Same Wealth As Poorest 50 Percent

There's rap rich. Then there's Donald Trump rich.

And finally there's rich rich.

A new report from Oxfam caculates that the eight wealthiest people in the world have the same amount of money as the poorest 50 percent of the world's population. The elite eight are worth $426 billion, equivalent to the wealth of 3.6 billion people.

They are:

Bill Gates, United States, Microsoft $75 billion. Amancio Ortega Gaona, Spain, Zara $67 billion. Warren E. Buffett, United States, Berkshire Hathaway $60.8 billion. Carlos Slim Helú, Mexico, Telecommunications $50 billion. Jeff Bezos, United States, Amazon $45.2 billion. Mark Zuckerberg, United States, Facebook $44.6 billion. Lawrence J. Ellison, United States, Oracle $43.6 billion. Michael R. Bloomberg, Unisted States, media and finance $40 billion.
