The Weeknd Pleads No Contest To Cop Punching

Back in January, the Weeknd was involved in an early morning fight at the Cromwell Hotel on the Vegas strip.

The cops were called, and during their breaking up of the brawl The Weeknd allegedly slugged one of the men in blue.

Not good.

He was back in Vegas this week to face his charges, and if there was any doubt this is the year of The Weeknd it's been settled.

Abel Tesfaye will serve no jail time. Instead, he will  pay $1,000 to an injured cop fund and complete anger management and an alcohol evaluation. There is also 50 hours of community service, but the judge will allow him to serve it in his home country of Canada.

If he does all of this, the charges will be dismissed.
