The NBA's media day started this week, and the New Orleans Pelicans had theirs yesterday.
During a Q&A, Zion Williamson was asked about Kendrick Lamar, which seemed to rub him the wrong way. [Jump to the 12:16 mark]
"Why wasn't Kendrick Lamar in your list for off-season workout playlist?" a reporter asked.
"What made you ask that second question?" said Zion.
"I just feel like you have two good songs you could've been playing in the gym," the reporter shot back.
"What songs would those be?" Zion asked him.
"Euphoria" and "Not Like Us," he responded.
"I hear you," Zion replied. "But you know, you're entitled to your opinion, I'm entitled to mine but saying that, come on, it's Kendrick Lamar. Like, I really gotta sit up here and talk about how good of an artist he is?"
The 6'6" forward then walked out of the interview.
So, why do you think the reporter decided to bait him like that?
