Styles P was seen intervening in his hometown of Yonkers, New York after he said two police officers slammed an unarmed woman to the ground.
A video of the incident surfaced on Tuesday, July 12 and it shows a woman on the ground being handcuffed, while telling the officers she's not resisting.
P got angry at the cops and called one a "whole bitch" several times, while telling him that he's scared of Black people. VladTV says the incident took place in front of P's juice bar.
After the video made the Internet rounds, the Lox member took to social media to explain his side of things and give advice on how to deal with police in a tense situation.
“On behalf of all young Black people who seen the video, I was wrong,” said P. “Because you got to be careful of what you do, and how you speak out here because we’re all at danger. But we also got to kinda step up when we see sh*t being done wrong. I definitely should have delegated better ... This one caught me off guard from seeing a female being slammed ... I don’t hate cops. I hate the mistreatment of poor Black people, of poor Spanish people, even poor white people in the hood ... I was so mad I wanted to kinda fight the cop, which is one of the dumbest things you can do ... Sometimes you just get f*cking tired."
Would you have reacted the same as P in that situation?
