Lil' Kim was honored with an award during a ceremony in New York City for African-American Music Appreciation Month. During the event, there was some noticeable tension between Kim and Maino that was captured on video.
It started when Kim was being introduced, and Maino barged in and interrupted.
"How you gonna ask me to come here and do that and not let me do it," Maino said.
Maino then admitted that he and Kim weren't on speaking terms, which she confirmed. She also snatched the award from him when he handed it to her.

Probably the most awkward moment came when Kim had the award, Maino tried to put his hand around her, and she pushed it away.
