Watch DJ Envy Attack Desus & Mero Over Comments About His Wife

DJ Envy wasn't feeling a joke that Desus & Mero made about his wife on their Viceland show, and he let them know about it when they appeared on The Breakfast Club today.

Last month, Envy and his wife stopped by the talk show The Real and discussed Envy having an affair. Desus & Mero played a clip of that interview on their show and suggested that his wife was staying with him for the money.

"You owe my wife an apology," said Envy when he finally had the two Viceland hosts in front of him. "When you insinuated she was there for the check, on your show, yes you did ... To insinuate she was there for a check or she's good with Envy's check is a disrespect to me and her."

Afterward, Desus apologized and said he didn't know that Envy would get so mad about the joke. He also promised not to say anything more about his family. But Envy still walked out of the room and later explained that he was far too upset to keep speaking with them.

Later, during that same interview, Desus said that being ambushed by Envy wasn't a good look for The Breakfast Club.

"Do you think this was good for anybody? he asked. "Do you think when this goes viral it's going to have the impact that is going to make Breakfast Club look good? Are people gonna want to come up here now? Or are people gonna be like, 'Nah, y'all niggas set a nigga up?'"
