Wale is huge wrestling fan. But about a year ago while attending a WWE event in his home town of DC he got into a front row fight with a heckler.
Apparently, Vince McMahon and company frown on real punches because the WWE has shunned Wale since then, despite his efforts to get more involved in the drama.
TMZ caught up with Wale yesterday and noticed he was carrying with him a WWE (actually early 90s WWF) belt.
So he told the cameraman his tale of woe, and pleaded with the WWE to give him another chance, saying the incident got "blown out of proportion." According to Wale he'd like to write a theme song for them, but would even take an internship if that's what it takes to get back in.
