In the second verse of J. Cole's song "False Prophets," he raps about Wale complaining about not getting enough props from fans or his industry peers. The verse seemed to cause tension between the two but that hasn't stopped them from working together in 2021.
On Wednesday, September 29, Wale said that he and Cole were dropping something new today (9/30) but kept things vague.
