Wakko the Kidd Also Shot In Los Angeles After Flaunting Bling

PNB Rock is dead after getting shot and robbed yesterday at Roscoe's House of Chicken 'N Waffles in Los Angeles.

He joins a list of out-of-town rappers who have been attacked and robbed in LA

But LA is dangerous for local rappers, too.

Wakko The Kid, who reps the San Fernando Valley in the northern Los Angeles metropolitan area, was shot and robbed earlier this month in front of his North Hollywood home

Wakko believes he was targeted after posting a video in which he flaunts an 80K "818" area code chain.

Wakko was shot six times in his driveway after he had returned home from a recording studio with his sound engineer in tow.

He believes the robbers were waiting for him.

"It's upsetting and frustrating that we live in a world where you can't have nice things without looking over your shoulder," Wakko said. 

According to police, 26 shots were fired in all.  His sound engineer was hit ten times and is still in the hospital.
