Tupac and Eazy-E are two names that have been thrown out in the race to put out the next big Hip Hop biopic.
If video director Marty Thomas has his way, there could also be enough material for new documentaries on the late legends. Speaking on the Murder Master Music Show, Thomas said he has hours of unseen Eazy footage.
Additionally, he has footage and home videos of Tupac, MC Ren and Above The Law. The catch is none of it can released without Ruthless Records' permission, which they haven't granted.
"We are having a tough time," Thomas says. "Here is all of this treasure that all of us would like to have out there and you could have unseen behind the scene footage and cut it down to all of the coolest stuff and then see Eazy-E, Above the Law and KMG."Thomas also spoke on giving Tupac directorial advice for the Above The Law video 'Call It What U Want.'
Nobody wants you to be anyone but Tupac so just be Tupac," Thomas said he told Pac. "Just be yourself. You're enough, man. You have great presence. He wanted to pull out this gun. He had this giant huge gun and he kept pulling it out and I asked him if we could do one with out the gun because MTV won't show the gun and I will end up getting the video back and re-cut it and resend it back to MTV and he said 'No, I'm going to show the gun.
