Uncle Luke wants it to be known that he didn't diss Funkmaster Flex or DJ Red Alert at the taping of the 2017 BET Hip-Hop Awards.

This past Friday, the rap legend was honored with the I Am Hip Hop Award at the ceremony, and it looks like he said something sideways about both New York DJs.

So to clear things up, Luke posted a video and explained himself.

"My teleprompter went out," he said. "So I shot from the hip. You know, when I shoot for the hip, some things come out and people interpret some things where they misinterpret. Some people may have misinterpreted that I said something bad about Funkmaster Flex and Red Alert. No. Those are my guys. What you should've heard was Funkmaster Flex broke my music in fucking New York. You should've heard Red Alert is my friend for life, who gave me the name Uncle Luke along with Greg Street. I love those guys, okay?"
We'll found out exactly what Luke said tomorrow night with the BET Awards airs.

Let me set the record straight if anyone misinterpreted my speech at the BET Awards last night that I said something bad about @funkflex #djredAlert your FUCKING WORNG what I was trying to say was when everybody else was shiting on me Funkmaster Flex broke my music in New York along with DJ Red Alert giving me my name I will always be grateful to those guys. If anyone knows me they know that I do not make Corrections with what I say I wear that shit on my shoulder.
