When Tyson Fury put Deontay Wilder down this weekend, he was doing more than just defeating his American rival for the second time in a row after their controversial 2018 draw.
He was also going up against the Drake curse that has struck athletes like Lamar Jackson and Serena Williams and teams like Alabama. It got so bad that soccer squads were banning their players from taking photos with Drizzy.
Before Fury-Wilder III, Drake endorsed the British giant and Fury accepted Drake's words.
Trust me @Drake, once I’m done with him he’ll be running through Alabama with his woes! God Bless You G 🤝 🦉 pic.twitter.com/QMAt0G7LZr

Now Fury is telling the world the Drake Curse was over once Wilder hit the mat.
Between this and the Raptors championship, is it?
