Tyler, The Creator talked about his sexuality during an interview with Fantastic Man.
"It’s still such a grey area with people, which is cool with me,” he stated. “Even though I’m considered loud and out there, I’m private, which is a weird dichotomy. The juxtaposition of loud and quiet is weird.”
Tyler also answered the question about why he decided to address his sexuality after being in the game for so long. He did it on the album Flower Boy in the song "I Ain't Got Time," where he said, "I’ve been kissing white boys since 2004.”
"I don’t know,” he said. “It’s a literal question and the thing about humans is we hate not having an answer. We hate not being in the know. So people will bullshit answers, make shit up, instead of being just, like, 'I don’t know.' There are some things that are just unexplainable.”
But the Odd Future leader wouldn't answer the question whether he's actually gay or not.
“I don’t want to talk about that,” he said. “Um, that’s the next record.”
Tyler's interview comes a few weeks after Eminem called him a "faggot" on the song "Fall" off the Kamikaze LP.
Later Em said that he regretted saying the word but was angry when he wrote it.
