Eminem has gone all in on politics and social justice.
In October, he ethered Donald Trump in his famous BET Cypher.
Last night, he dropped "Untouchable", the second single from his upcoming album Revival. On it, he discusses the always controversial topic of White Privilege.
"Feels like we're stuck in a time warp to me/ As I kick these facts and get these mixed reactions/ As this beat backspins/ It like we're drifting back into the Sixties/ Having black skin is risky 'cause this keeps happening," Eminem raps. "Throughout history, African Americans have been treated like shit/ And I admit, there have been times where it's been embarrassing to be a white boy."
In the track, Em addresses police violence, forced segregation of neighborhoods and the Black Lives Matter movement. He also namedrops Colin Kaepernick.
It could be a risky move, given his diverse fan base. But the initial Twitter reaction seems to be with Shady. Check out what the Internet thinks, and let us know what you think about Eminem's latest.
Eminem new track Untouchable has a message in it. You mfers just wanted him on a trap beat rapping bout drugs, bitches, and money. That's what happens when you let today's hip-hop brainwash niggas. If Pac came back and dropped an album y'all would say it's trash.

People of the Internet: Eminem Drops “Walk On Water” Response: “WTF IS THIS SHIT? We want the onld Slim Shady Back!

*2 weeks later*
Eminem Drops “Untouchable” Response: Nobody wants this old type of Eminem, The Slim Shady gimmick is dead...
Like wtf yall want? 😂😂🤧
Nvm. I lied. I see the reasoning for the first part of the song. In the first part he's a white Boy that's why he has that "rock" vibe. 2nd he moves to the view of black person and switches the song to a rap song. You're a genius @Eminem #Untouchable #Revival

Bro, shout out to Eminem for releasing songs that talk about the mistreatment of Black people. White artists hardly/never do that. #Respect #Untouchable

When #ImNotRacist by Joyner Lucas sees #Untouchable by Eminem... pic.twitter.com/3zTsMv7eiV

Don't like the new Eminem song at all. Hook is alright but his flow is embarrassing. And the message is always appreciated but I feel like he's twerking for BLM at this point and Joyner did it way better. I don't know anymore man. Disappointed to say the very least.

My initial thought - How is Untouchable a track you drop as a single?
— Debating Rap (@DebatingAlbums) December 8, 2017
Eminem is now an SJW.

Gonna go ahead and call the new #Eminem single, #Untouchable, a win. He's gonna catch some shade for being preachy, but if there is one white boy in the world who's in a place to rap about racial oppression, it's probably him.

after 5-6 times of listening to "Untouchable" my thoughts are:
— Shady's Revival 🐐 (@SlimShadyTime21) December 8, 2017
1) Eminem still rhyme king
2) Great message once again
3) Bad PRODUCTION for a political single. I don't understand why he picked that beat, he could drop a single like White America with similar beat and hook
Eminem’s new song is ok. It’s not trash or overly good or amazing. However I like it. Casual rap/em fans wont like it and say it’s too political. Some stans will say they hate it bc it’s not old em. Solid 7/10 imo. #UNTOUCHABLE
— Kenneth Tapp (@TappKenneth) December 8, 2017
ok for everyone angry about @Eminem’s new song, yes it is about politics and black lives matter.. so what? em is the only rapper that actually has the balls to go out on a song and say shit like that, nobody else will. Major respect for em. 💯 #REVIVAL #UNTOUCHABLE
