Months before his death, Tupac bought himself Hummer H1, which were all the rage in 1996.
That over-sized ride was auctioned off recently for $337,114 -- or about seven times what an H1 that Tupac never owned would have gone for.
The military grade vehicle has a 6.5-liter V-8 diesel engine customized with auxiliary lights, brush guards, dark tinted windows and -- since it was 1996 -- a 12-disc CD changer
"It's an incredible piece of hip-hop history that evokes the invincible spirit of one of rap's true lyrical giants," said Robert Livingston, Executive Vice President of RR Auction, in a release issued to the media. "We are thrilled at the price achieved and with the continued success of our specialty themed auctions."So far the buyer has remained anonymous, and we can all cross our fingers that it wasn't douche lord Shkreli.
