Troy Ave made an odd choice in the lyrics and video for his new track "2 Legit 2 Quit".
In it, he suggests he will testify against Taxstone. The podcaster is facing second-degree murder charges for his role in the notorious Irving Plaza shooting, which took the life of Troy's bodyguard Ronald McPhatter.
“I’m only loyal to my fam/ It's true/Middle finger from the stand/Either me or it's you," Troy raps as his cartoon version gives a middle finger from the stand.
Twitter was quick to condemn Troy as a snitch.
However, Troy had a different take, which he explained on IG.
"U can't snitch on Video Tape, U can't snitch on self defense," he argues.
