Today, Trippie Redd made the 2018 XXL Freshman List.
The 18-year old was also arrested for assault and battery.
TMZ reports Redd was taken in by the Atlanta PD earlier today and is currently being held in Fulton County Jail. He's been booked for aggravated assault and battery causing substantial physical harm.
DJ Akademiks has the details of the incident, and they are grim. Apparently, Trippie pistol-whipped a female.
According to the victim, she got in Trippie's girl's face and Redd responded by pistol whipping her in the back of the head, knocking her to the ground.
In what seems to be an unrelated incident, Trippie was also arrested in Atlanta two weeks ago for jumping local rapper FDM Grady.
