Amid reports that Travis Scott partied at Dave and Busters after his disastrous Astroworld festival left nine dead, LaFlame's lawyer is saying his client didn't know.
Ed McPherson did Good Morning America today and here's what he had to say:
"We are trying to get to the bottom of how is responsible for this. It's obviously a systemic breakdown that we really need to get to the bottom of before we start pointing fingers at anyone," McPherson said.
He also claimed Scott didn't know it was a mass casualty even until the next day.
"[The information] didn't get to Travis. It didn't get to Travis's crew. He is up there trying to perform. He does not have any ability to know what is going on below on a mass level. You know what, Travis didn't really understand the full effect of what happened until the next morning. Truely. He did not know what was going on ... Understand that when he's up on stage and there was flashbulbs going on around him and he has an ear monitor that has music blasting of his own voice, he can't hear anything, he can't see anything."
Others have argued that the performer has one of the best and most comprehensive perspectives on what is going in on a crowd.
