Travis Scott and Drake are among the targets of a massive $2 billion dollar Astroworld lawsuit.
Apple Music and Live Nation are also named
The lawsuit began on behalf of one concertgoer. However, in the past week, 281 other plaintiffs have attached their names to it.
"The defendants stood to make an exorbitant amount of money off this event, and they still chose to cut corners, cut costs, and put attendees at risk," lead lawyer Thomas J. Henry said in a statement. "My clients want to ensure the defendants are held responsible for their actions, and they want to send the message to all performers, event organizers, and promoters that what happened at Astroworld cannot happen again."
Drake was on stage with Travis Scott shortly before the crowd stampeded, killing at least ten.
Live Nation and Apple were involved in the promotion and organization of the event.
There's also a separate $750 million lawsuit against Scott, Drake, Apple Music, and Live Nation that has been filed by 125 concertgoers.
