The state of California has charged Tory Lanez with shooting Megan Thee Stallion back in July
This afternoon, the Los Angeles district attorney hit the 27-year-old with one count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and one count of carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle.
He faces up to 22 years and eight months in prison.

He had previously just been charged with carrying a concealed weapon.
Meg had publically fingered Tory as the shooter, but the word was she wasn't working with the police and that was why months had gone by without any charges.
Tory suggested that he had been set up on his album DayStar.
The shooting happened after Tory and Meg attended a pool party at Kylie Jenner's pad. The two rappers were said to be dating at the time, and the word was they got in an argument -- perhaps over Tory flirting with Kylie -- right before Lanez opened fire, hitting both of Meg's feet.
