Tory Lanez has apologized for calling himself the best rapper alive in January of last year.
He made the claim a couple of months after going toe-to-toe with Joyner Lucas in that much talked about battle they had. So the Canadian rapper's confidence in himself was probably at an all-time high then.

His apology came this week on Twitter, and it's already been deleted.
"Lol yo I'm sorry for the time I said, 'Im the best rapper alive' ... Even if I feel that way about myself. It's a dumbass statement," wrote Tory. "And even though I'm always ready to stand behind my talent, it made me look like a dick head. And I'm truly not that. So yeah. My bad lmao."
