Rapper Toosii, who is originally from Syracuse, New York, moved to Raleigh, North Carolina when he was 13 because his mother wanted a better life for him.
In a recent interview with DJ Vlad, Toosii had quite the story.
Three men murdered his grandpa back in Syracuse after he moved to Raleigh in a drug deal gone bad. He didn't know the identities of the men who stabbed his grandpa at first, but surveillance video eventually showed his three best friends committing the heinous crime. They were convicted of the murder.
"You don't know how to feel. It's your grandad, but those are your best friends," Toosii explained.
Toosii says ultimately he's not mad at them for killing his granddad.
"Free them," he said, but admitted he probably wouldn't hang out with them anymore if they were free.
