When Jay-Z's lawyer Alex Spiro spoke of the inconsistencies in the story of Jay's rape accuser, he said the Brooklyn rapper isn't friends with Diddy.
Spiro was making the point that just because you see Jay and Diddy greeting each other at celebrity events, it doesn't mean their friends.
"They knew each other professionally for a number of years," said Spiro in a press conference this week. "At music awards, they support each other. They go to the NBA All-Star Game, they support each other. That’s just how professions work."
Tony Yayo spoke about Spiro's claim that Jay and Diddy aren't friends, and he doesn't seem to believe it. [Jump to the 3:00-mark]
"Now Jay is saying, 'this not my man,' which is kind of weird. You seen them at parties together, but that’s that Brooklyn sh*t," said Yayo on VladTV. "When you look at it, right, think about it. Diddy goes to his [Roc Nation brunch] … Then Diddy will have an all-white party and Jay go to that. So, it’s like the same parties they go to. So, I guess he feel like, n*gga not his man."
How would you describe Diddy and Jay's relationship?
