Earlier this month, a goofy viral list of the Top 50 rappers of all time was all the rage.
Now Timbaland has reposted a similarly wonky list of the top 50 producers.
Even though Timbaland ranked a respectable six on the list, he argued it needs to be "re-evaluated."
The list seems to be Hip Hop oriented, which is why you don't see all-time great A-list producers like Max Martin, Brian Eno, Phil Spector, Nile Rodgers, and George Martin on it.
However, the inclusion of names like Quincy Jones, Prince and David Foster -- who aren't really associated with Hip Hop -- confuses things.
What do you think about the list?
