Before Young Thug broke, not a lot of rappers were wearing dresses.
That's still pretty much the case. But Thugger did prove you can wear a dress and have a rap career.

"You were so confident in your skin that you put a f*cking a dress but maintained your status as a real n*gga," Tip remembered.
Then his other guest Benny The Butcher suggested that Thug did it for attention and T.I. agreed.
"This n*gga put a dress on for attention, tell the truth. You did that sh*t for attention," Tip said.
Thug disagreed, and explained he simply put on the dress because it matched his shoes.
"That motherf*cker matched," Thug said. "This on my kids."
