T.I. Comes For DJ Akademiks Over Reginae Carter Diss

DJ Akademiks may want to hire extra security.

That's because he has a whole generation of Hip Hop folks coming after him for calling rap's pioneers "dusty." 

Now, he's hearing it for disprecting Reginae Carter, Lil Wayne's daughter.

"Reginae loved hood n*ggas; she loved YFN Lucci ...  You know these b*tches— let me not call her a b*tch," he said. "These chicks love a hood n*gga until he's facing 25 to life.”

First, Reginae's mother Toya Johnson scolded Akademiks for his words. Then T.I. sent him a message.

"I would love to have a word with Akademiks," Tip wrote on Instagram. "I put a call out to him; hopefully we can communicate our way to a positive resolution ... [Reginae] was raised by a village who loves and protects her [with] all our physical and spiritual abilities... She is MY business," he stated. "Hence why I'd love to handle the matter privately (which is why I been calling & txtn trying to speak with you.)"
