There's A Suspect In Murder Of Rich Gang Rapper BTY YoungN

BTY YoungN [Desmone James} was shot killed last month outside of a gas station in the Hollygrove section of New Orleans.

The 27-year-old had recently signed a deal with Birdman's Rich Gang imprint.

The NOPD now have a suspect in the killing, 31-year old Darryl Bannister Jr.

Bannister hasn't been located yet, but he will be charged with second-degree murder when he is brought in.

The motive for the shooting is still unclear, but some believe Bannister was trying to rob YoungN while the rapper waited to secure a deposit for an upcoming performance.

“Jealousy is behind it. Because of his success as a rapper,” said YoungN's mom Gabrielle Jerome. “He would literally give you the shirt off his back. He loved kids to death. It’s just rough."
