There's A Busta Rhymes Island In Massachusetts

by HHL JT

These days, most stories about Busta Rhymes involve his bloated physique or the strange fights he gets into with gym employees.

But let's not forget Busta was a straight up beast in the 90s, looming large in both the rap game and the music video game.

A relic of his late century popularity is this island in Massachusetts which has been named after the Flipmode rapper.

The island was named by Kevin O’Brien, who uses the 40 feet by 40 land mass as a hangout spot.

When asked by the Boston Globe why he called it "Busta Rhymes Island", O'Brien explained that the island has “rope-swinging, blueberries, and … stuff Busta would enjoy.”

O'Brien isn't sure Busta even knows about the island. "I don't know, but I hope he's going to find out, and he's welcome to visit anytime," O'Brien stated in his chat with the Globe.

Twitter is shocked and impressed that such a place exists.
