The Shady Records compilation album Shady XV came out in 2014, the 15th anniversary of Eminem's record label.
It featured two discs. One disc of new material from Em and his artists and another of greatest hits.
It sold solidly, 148K first week, and eventually Gold.
They were going to do it again last year with a Shady XX album, but that got scrapped.
We know this now because designer Mike Saputo, who worked on Shady XV, also mocked up some covers and logos for Shady XX, which he's no displaying on his Instagram page.
“So sometime last year, we started working on some things to celebrate Shady’s 20th,” he captioned. “I worked up a ton of logos and other assets for it. Ended up the project never made it to the light of day unfortunately. So I was left with a whole bunch of stuff I thought came out pretty good, but nowhere to use it. Such is the design life."
