Beyonce's Super Bowl rendition of her new track 'Formation' has been controversial.
Or has it been a faux-controversy?
There had been breathless reports that protesters were going to gather in front of the NFL's headquarters earlier this week to protest the "anti-police message" in the song.
Only the protest didn't materialize, suggesting it was a fake event set up by a social media troll.
Then we got word that the police in Tampa are refusing to help staff security at Beyonce's upcoming sold-out concert.
But apparently that isn't happening either:

Over in Miami, local Fraternal Order of police president Javier Ortiz did issue this statement.
The Miami Fraternal Order of Police has voted to have all law enforcement officers boycott Beyoncé’s concert which is being held at the Miami Marlins Stadium on Wednesday, April 26, 2016... The fact that Beyoncé used this year’s Super Bowl to divide Americans by promoting the Black Panthers and her antipolice message shows how she does not support law enforcement.However, a spokesman for the Miami Police Department explained that the Fraternal Order of Police did not speak for the police department or the city, and guaranteed that Beyoncé's April concert at Marlins Park would be fully protected.
