Last week, multiple rappers came forward to accuse The Game of having them pay $1000 to be on his mixtape only to find it was a Game "hosted" mixtape, not a mixtape Game was on, and that Game didn't put it on his primary Soundcloud account or promote it at all
It is likely part of a scam a whole bunch of rappers are involved in and is better explained here.
Game has responded to the backlash by finally promoting the End Games tape on his social.
"OUT NOW click link in bio, let’s run these numbers up," Game typed, in response to the criticism that the tape had yet to really garner any listeners.

Of course, the artists on the receiving end of these DMs cannot believe artists like Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Benny The Butcher, etc..., are reaching out, TO THEM, about a mixtape placement.

Obviously, spending $650 to generate 60 plays isn't a wise investment. Artists *could* justify the expense as a public "co-sign," but there's little in the way of actual marketing value.
