A lot of the marketing of Game's aggressively-marketed album Drillmatic involved his Eminem diss, 'The Black Slim Shady'.
The marketing didn't seem to work because the sales of Drillmatic were light.
Perhaps because of that, Em hasn't felt the need to respond to the diss.
The Game always maintained he was going after Shady for the purpose of competition and didn't really have anything against the more famous rapper.
In a new appearance on Rap Radar, Game heaped praise on Eminem.
As far as, like, it being personal, like, it’s not personal. I came up on Em too,” Game said. “I remember the first time, you know, ‘Hi, My Name Is,’ you know, came out. I was like wowed by it. I felt that same feeling when I heard ‘Juicy’ from Big the first time. So yeah, I always f*cked with Em and then the whole Aftermath and the Shady thing, and he was on The Documentary," Game said.
Do you think Eminem will be his friend now?
