The Game's name has been attached to the same scam Safaree Samuels and others have been accused of participating in.
Game is accused of getting in up-and-coming rappers DMs, telling them they have talent, and then asking for $500-$1,000 to appear on one of his mixtapes. However, the mixtape is just a compilation of other up-and-coming rappers. The Game is not on the tape and he doesn't even upload on his Soundcloud account or promote it on his social media.
This is the scam with think Game has lent his name and DM to and reaped the benefits.

Of course, the artists on the receiving end of these DMs cannot believe artists like Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Benny The Butcher, etc..., are reaching out, TO THEM, about a mixtape placement.
