The Fugees' Pras Indicted By The Feds

Pras Michel got hit with a 4-count federal indictment on Friday after he was accused of funneling millions of dollars in campaign contributions.

TMZ reports that he's also being accused of working with disgraced Malaysian businessman Jho Low to bring funds in from foreign accounts to make U.S. campaign contributions. Low is currently a fugitive for his involvement in billions of dollars disappearing from a Malaysian government wealth fund that was established to lift the country's economy. 

Feds say Pras made the political donations to a 2012 presidential candidate Barack Obama. Pras is accused of getting the money from Low, then splitting it up among others to hide the money's true source.

The Fugee member was charged with conspiracy, making a false statement and two counts of false entry in record. He faces jail time and has yet to make a statement.
