Jamel Jones aka "Mel Murda" was among the Treway Bloods arrested with Tekashi 6ix9ine last week.

He is said to be the leader of the gang and is said to be the one caught on wiretap telling 6ix9ine's former manager Shotti he wanted 6ix9ine "super violated" for the disrespectful interview he gave the Breakfast Club. (According to Hip Hop Overlords, Murda specifically requested 6ix9ine be raped and then stabbed in the bootyhole until he died.)

Mel Murda is also a rapper who used to go by Mel Matrix and was a part of Jim Jones's Byrd Gang crew. He appeared on tracks with other members of the clique and with members of Dipset. In 2011, he dropped the mixtape Matrix Reloaded.

He ended up having beef with former Byrd Gang member Max B and recorded this Max B diss in 2008:

Here's an interview with Jamel Jones aka "Mel Murda" aka "Mel Matrix."
