The City Girls Clap Back At Those Making Fun Of Their First-Week Record Sales

by Daryl Nelson

The City Girls chose not to ignore the slick comments that were made after it was reported that their new album RAW only sold between 6,000 and 8,000 units in its first week.

JT clapped back first after one person said she keeps "bubbling" under Billboard's Hot 100 charts.

It be exactly like this! Bandwagon asf, probably don’t even know what bubbling under is. But wanna be twitter cool. Y’all been giving me hell since I came home I’m glad I ain’t easy to break! https://t.co/KBhjgh3tVP

The other City Girls member, Yung Miami, responded later that same day.

Do you think selling 6K in the first week is all that bad when most people stream their music these days?
