Marco Santi grew up across the street from Fat Joe, and eventually joined his Terror Squad crew.
During an interview with John Alite and Gene Borrello, Santi explained his history with Joe and added that Joe was definitely a guy who did everything he rapped about. [Jump to four minutes.]
"We met doing graffiti, and from there we were just attached at the hip until I left for the military," Marco explained. " Joe was a real G. Guys like John and Joe are hand-in-hand. These guys, they've been in the streets, they've sold the drugs, they did the murders, they did the things like that."
Alite is definitely a murderer. In 2011, he plead guilty to killing two people and has said he killed four more. (Because he cooperated with prosecutors in their case against notorious Gambino family boss John Gotti, he only ended up serving about a year.) According to Santi, Fat Joe also has a body count. Do you buy that?
