Tekashi 6ix9ine's 'TattleTales' Opening Week Projections Massively Downgraded

Earlier this weekend, HitsDailyDouble was projecting Tekashi 6ix9ine's album TattleTales to have a 150K first week and to break Taylor Swift's six-week streak at number one.

Today, the chart tracker's massively downgraded that to about 50K.

HitsDailyDouble didn't offer much of an explanation for the downgrade, other than that holiday weekend is delaying some reporting, and that 6ix9ine got involved in a chart "kerfuffle" in 2018 when Billboard only gave his debut album Dummy Boy credit for a 66K first week.

6ix9ine has already alleged that Apple and Spotify are blackballing TattleTales from playlists, and now the plot thickens with this unusually large dip in projections.  6ix9ine has been caught doing sketchy things with streams in the past.
